Grand Slam named official provider of wood bats and uniforms to the 
                                     Okotoks Dawgs Baseball Club

Airdrie, AB January 22, 2007 – Grand Slam announces that it will serve as the official provider of wood bats, uniforms and team merchandise for the Okotoks Dawgs Baseball Club.  Grand Slam will supply the wooden GS bats for all Dawgs Collegiate and J Dawgs players in 2007.  Additionally, Grand Slam will serve as the operator of the Dawgs General Store.

The Dawgs are currently in the process of building a multi-million dollar stadium in the booming town of Okotoks 25 minutes south of Down Town Calgary.
The Seaman Stadium and Field House will be one of the best baseball facilities in the country. It has already sparked interest at the national and international levels.

With this extraordinary new facility, the Dawgs are committed to repeating the successes the program enjoyed as a elite youth development program dating back to 1995. With professional coaching, top competition from premier programs on both sides of the border and year round baseball training, the Dawgs graduated numerous players to the college ranks, several enjoying success at the NCAA, Division 1 level, to Canada’s Junior National Team program and there is a long list of players who once wore a Dawgs’ uniform having been selected in the amateur draft of Major League Baseball.

Grand Slam president Pablo Forno had this to say about this endorsement deal, “We are very excited to be working with the Dawgs, they are a first class organization and share the same passion for the sport as we do.
